The dependants of a Laurel are Apprentices or students whom they give guidance in the arts & sciences.
It is equal in rank to the Chivalry (containing the Master of Arms and Knight) and Pelican.
2. The heraldic badge of A Laurel Wreath. Every regional group in the SCA has a Laurel Wreath on their device denoting this is the device of a place, not a person.
