A Peer is someone who holds a Patent of Arms. There are two kinds of peers; Peers of the Realm and Royal Peers.
Peers of the Realm
These include:
- Companions of the Chivalry
- Companions of the Laurel
- Companions of the Pelican
- Companions of the Order of Defense
- Companions of the Rose (if the Rose was accompanied by a Patent)
Royal Peers
These include:
- The royal family
- King/Queen
- Crown Prince/Crown Princess
- Prince/Princess (of a Crown Principality)
- Heir/Heiress (to the coronet of a Crown Principality)
- Duke/Duchess
- Count/Countess
- Viscount/Viscountess
