The Barony of Ayreton is a Barony of the Middle Kingdom located in the Midlands Region of the Middle Kingdom.

The Baronage
Baron Gareth Ostwestly and Baroness Hillary of Langforde are the second Baronage of Ayreton and were invested on November 14th, A.S. 50 (2015) by Tsar Nikolai Grigorevich Petrov and Tsarina Serena Kimbalwyke at the Known World Academy of Rapier and Known World Costume Symposium held in the Barony of Ayreton.

History
The Barony of Ayreton was Invested (Created) as a Barony on September 11th, 2010 in what is now the Canton of Foxvale.
It was the result of the unification of 5 separate groups, the Former Province of Tree-Girt-Sea, Former Shire of Grey Gargoyles, Former Shire of Rokkehealden, Former Shire of Vanished Wood and the Former Shire of Foxvale.
These five groups each became Cantons of the Barony of Ayreton.
Heraldic History
The name Barony of Ayreton was registered with the SCA College of Heralds in June 2009.
The heraldic device was registered in September 2009.
The badge for the award Cellarer of Ayreton was registered in November 2012.
The badge "(Fieldless) On a mullet of six points per pale vert and azure a pheon inverted argent." was registered in October 2013.
The badge for the Order of Atlas of Ayreton was registered in September 2014.

Events
The Barony of Ayreton has many Events in it's borders on account of those Events hosted by its Cantons, these include an Annual Twelfth Night Event held by the Canton of Tree-Girt-Sea, Stone Dog Inn held by the Canton of Grey Gargoyles, Foxhunt held by the Canton of Foxvale and All Souls held by the Canton of Vanished Wood.
Ayreton also hosts one Event that has become an annual tradition, A Monk's Life - Scribin' & Imbibin' which is traditionally held in the late winter/early spring, frequently just called Scribin' & Imbibin'.
