Grey Gargoyles is a Canton of the Barony of Ayreton in the Midlands Region of the Middle Kingdom.
Heraldry
- Arms/Device - Argent, a bar embattled between a winged horned demon sejant erect affronté chased sable and a laurel wreath vert, all within a bordure sable.
- Badge - Per fess embattled azure and argent, masoned azure.
History
As part of their inclusion in the Barony of Ayreton, Grey Gargoyles gave up their status as a Shire to become a Canton of the Barony of Ayreton.
Heraldry History
The name Canton of the Grey Gargoyles was registered with the SCA College of Heralds in July of 1979.
The name was updated to College of the Grey Gargoyles in April of 1980.
The heraldic device was registered in April of 1980.
The badge was registered in February of 1990.
Events
Annually they hold a spring event called Stone Dog Inn.
