About
Clovenshield is a mercenary household of the Society for Creative Anachronism. Having no allegiance to any crown (unless they are being paid) and are for hire.
From their Website:
"House Clovenshield is composed of members of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). We are the premiere mercenary household of the known world. Clovenshield has over a century of combined bush-whacking experience. Experts in hit-and-run, ambush, dry-gulching, bush-whacking, fast attack, deviousness, underhandedness, deception, and general mayhem, Clovenshield brings an essential element of lethal maneuver firepower to your army. Clovenshield is an equal opportunity mercenary group; we discriminate solely on the basis of bribe tendered."
Clovenshield accepts no "Money" for payment, rather they take payment in the forms of "Beer, bacon, glory, cheese, beef, rattan, armor, favors, more bacon."
The Household maintains it's "Corporate" headquarters in the Barony-March of the Debatable Lands in the Kingdom of Æthelmearc, but has a small and active group "Clovenshield West" in the Barony of Ayreton.
