Dag was never squired.
He was knighted by the hand of King Alen, who was knighted by King Nathan and Duke Dagan (who held the sword as Nathan was not himself a knight, and only a knight can make a knight.)

Interests and SCA-related hobbies
Duke Dag is known for his love of well orchestrated courts, as King he presented the Kingdom with an hour glass, vowing that his courts would never run over an hour and mostly kept that promise. He served for many years as Minister of Protocol for the Kingdom, keeping the Kingdom's ceremonies up to date and elegant.
He is a graphic designer and made the fabulous decals which decorate his car.
