About

The Canton of Woods End is a Canton of the Barony of Middle Marches in the North Oaken Region of the Middle Kingdom. The Canton of Woods End includes the counties of Fayette, Highland, and Ross. For folks who are interested in Historical Re-enactment including Arts and Sciences, Martial Activities such as Rapier and Heavy Fighting and others, and Living Culture.

Heraldry

• Arms/Device - Sable, on a fess vert fimbriated between three laurel wreaths a hare courant argent.

Motto

• Invictum Leporem - The Unconquered Hare!

Meetings

History

Starting as a group in the fall of 2018, Woods End was announced as a full status Canton at the Coronation of Wigthegn the Younger and Neassa O’Cathasaigh on the 23rd of September, 2023 (A.S. 58)

Heraldry History

The name Canton of Woods End was registered in June of 2020.
The heraldic device blazoned "Sable, on a fess vert fimbriated between three laurel wreaths a hare courant argent." was registered in September of 2022.

Demo's and Events

The Canton of Woods End hosts the Snowshoe Hare Culture Faire in late February each year.
