Tirnewydd is a Canton of the Barony of Middle Marches in the North Oaken Region of the Middle Kingdom.
Geographically Tirnewydd is north-west of Mugmort and south of Pferdestadt. It encompasses the city of Columbus, Ohio and environs.

Heraldry History
The name Thor's Anvil was registered with the SCA College of Heralds. This name was changed to March of Tirnewydd in May of 1983.

The heraldic device blazoned "Argent fretty gules, a laurel wreath and issuant from base a demi-sun Or." was registered in July of 1985 and changed/released in May of 2000.
