Blackhawk is a Hamlet of Carraig Ban in the Midlands Region of the Middle Kingdom. It is located in Northern Illinois around Rockford.
Heraldry
- Arms/Device - Argent, a hawk striking to sinister sable within a laurel wreath vert.
- Badge - Argent, in pale three feathers bendwise sable
- Badge - Argent, semy of swords gules, in bend two hawk's legs couped a la quise bendwise sinister sable.

In 2023, Blackhawk transitioned from being a Shire to a Hamlet of Carraig Ban
Heraldic History
The name Shire of Blackhawk was registered with the SCA College of Heralds in October 1982.
The heraldic device associated was registered in November 1988.
The badge "Argent, in pale three feathers bendwise sable" was registered in February of 1987.
The badge "Argent, semy of swords gules, in bend two hawk's legs couped a la quise bendwise sinister sable" was registered in April 1994.
