The Order of the Cavendish Knot is an award given by the Crown to those who have shown proficiency in rapier combat or service in promoting the same.

This award conveys precedence ahead of the Gaping Wound, is equal to the awards: Award of the Dragon's Tooth and Orders of the Dragon's Barb, White Chamfron and Red Company, and also gives armigerous status.

Rights and Privileges

Recipients of this award are called Companions of the Order of the Cavendish Knot and may use the letters C.C.K. after their name and are titled Lord/Lady. The recipients may also wear a badge blazoned: (Fieldless) Four Cavendish knots conjoined in cross vert. This award is equal to the awards: Orders of the Dragon's Tooth, Dragon's Barb, White Chamfron and Red Company.
