Apprentice

An Apprentice is a dependant of a Laurel and are taught by them in one or many of the arts & sciences. The particular art or science the apprentice pursues is not necessarily the same as the one the Laurel is proficient in.

While the color of belt is not denoted nor restricted by Middle Kingdom sumptuary law, many apprentices are recognizable by their wearing of green belts. As each Laurel and Apprentice decides the unique nature of their relationship some Laurels choose different symbols of the bond such as the wearing of their livery or device.

Some dependants swear fealty to their Laurel, this, like the wearing of a green belt, is not always the case and decided upon by the individuals embarking on the relationship.
