White belt

White belts and baldrics are restricted by sumptuary custom from being worn by anyone who is not a member of the Chivalry, that being a Knight or a Master of Arms. Despite not being restricted specifically by the Laws of the Middle Kingdom or Corpora, the custom of Chivalry members only being allowed to wear white belts is arguably the strongest held custom in the kingdom and holds the weight of law.

Historically the white belt comes from a written account of a knighting (insert source here) wherein the knight-vigilant was girded with a white belt symbolizing his chastity.

This is also a heraldic charge that is restricted to knights.
