About
The Sternfeld Rapier Bards combine bardic panache with sharp steel (or wit. Or both.) while fighting valiantly in battle.
Membership is open to anyone in the Barony who can attest to
- telling or penning a story, reciting or producing a poem, or singing or composing a song
- facing an opponent with honor and courage in a battle of blades or a duel of words
The Sternfeld Rapier Bards have produced Praise Poems for the Midrealm Crown Tourneys since Fall Tourney, AS LII.
They can be identified by the sound of their voices raised in song and the quizzical looks on the faces of their opponents.
The concept of the Rapier Bards is open to all groups in the SCA - we ask that due credit be given to the inspiration of the Sternfeld Rapier Bards.
