A Baronial Order is comprised of a group of people who have been recognized for excellence in a field. Orders may be recognized locally, Kingdom wide, or even Society wide, but in this case the Orders are recognized only within the Barony who creates and bestows them.

In general the difference between an Order and an Award is that an award can be given multiple times, whereas you can only join an Order once (once you're in the Order, you're in the Order!)
