Master Milesent Vibert found the SCA in college in the fall of 1992 and became a card carrying member in August 1993 at Pennsic (in those days they had a membership sign-up table next to the gate.) She is probably best known for her calligraphy and illumination, though she dabbles in a great many different arts and was elevated to the Laurel for "Experiential Research" which she chooses to interpret as "Mad Science" or "Research" depending on how playful the mood is. The research which seemed to garner the most attention before her elevation was her work on re-constructing gilt membrane threads.

Persona

Milesent is a Burgundian noblewoman who left her beloved Dijon to marry the dashing Baron Edward Brackenburye in 1483 and now lives with him on a small estate near Lincoln, England bemoaning the state of English fashions and cuisine almost as much as he bemoans the Lancasters being in power.

Persona Name Pronunciation: Prefer ME-lay-scent VEE-bear, can also do Me-Lay-Sant VEE-bear

Pronouns: She/Her Note I prefer "Master" when referring to me as a member of the Order of the Laurel.
