Tournament of Defense

A tournament held periodically to give the rapier community a chance to test themselves against the Masters and Mistresses of Defense. Similar to the Tournament of Chivalry, and perhaps held in conjunction with that event, there is no specific victor.

Commentary on the Name

A question that has previously arisen is, "Why call this a tournament?" For many people, a tournament includes a contest in which there is a victor. However, the event conforms to another somewhat historical meaning of the word:
