Persona
Albina Gherardi, also known as Bina, is originally from 12th century Muslim Sicily. Her family were textile merchants, and she was stranded in Northern India when her family's ship went down, and she was orphaned. She was raised Muslim, and has come to enjoy the study of the Koran. Currently, she still resides in the mountains of what is modernly known as Pakistan, and travels between ancient Rome, 12th century Sicily, and 16th century Northern India, a member of the court of Akbar the Great, peace be upon him. She works as a midwife, healer, teacher and scholar within the harem, teaching reading, writing, arithmetic, simples, herbs, and general healing.
