Precedence

This is the first award that conveys precedence and armigerous status.

Rights and Privileges

While a fairly low rank award, and frequently the first award someone receives in the Society, the Award of Arms is one of the most special and conveys many rights.

Recipients of this award are titled Lord/Lady and may be addressed as my Lord/Lady. This is society wide. The Gender-Neutral Titles of Armiger, Noble, or Nobilis (Latin) are available for those preferring them.

They also may wear a circlet which is unadorned or adorned with no more than one point or gem. They may also display a coat of arms (that has been registered with the College of Heralds) without let or hindrance.

Most Crown Tournaments require that combatants and consorts have an Award of Arms.
