Member of the SCA since 1995. Mistress Gianetta Andreini da Vicenza is an enthusiastic supporter of the arts and sciences in the Society, and is a member of both the Order of the Laurel and the Order of the Pelican. Her expertise is in costuming research and construction (with a particular focus on late 15th to late 16th century Italian). She is also the founder and artistic director of the Pippins, an a cappella madrigal group performing both in the SCA and at public events. She has a great interest in cookery and sotelties/illusion food, as well as experience with calligraphy and illumination. In the modern world, she is an avid knitter, and she has a BFA in Fiber Arts.
