Hello,

I found the Middlewiki, and I'm a big believer in the free and open exchange of information. (yes a huge nerd in RL) So I thought I would help out by expanding some of the content on the site.

I've found writing on certain topics to be somewhat complicated. For example Spangen helms

I could give a history and orgins on the helm. But I hate to just repeat what you can find elsewhere on the .net for historical information.

I thought about writing how Spangen helms are used in the SCA, but they are used like other helms. They aren't that popular at least not by historal construction standards, but rather helms are made to have the appearance a spangen helm that are in reality a single peice of metal welded.

Prehaps I can combine the two together?

I was looking to make a information template that I or others could use when filling in historical information and how it applies in the SCA.

Also the SCA has it's own rich history. I'd love to see much of that documented.

I hoped you could give some direction in how/what information to present.

Thank you for adding content to the site! It's great to have more people providing input. I believe the main intent of the Middle Wiki is to serve as a guide to newcomers to the Midrealm; so articles explaining what something is in context of this particular kingdom would be great; perhaps linking to other resources for more information? Personally, I'd rather see fewer pages with more information than many pages with little information. Try selecting random pages and look for places where you can add content. Simple proof-reading is also valuable.
