Interests and SCA-related hobbies
Rodrick has fought with the Brotherhood of Steel since 2013. He is trained in both sword and spear and revels in the tactics involved when forces clash upon the field. Continuing beyond his degrees in history and archaeology, he now spends time researching various military conflicts of the Middle Ages and seeks to recreate the experience of the individual soldier in those conflicts.
Persona
His current persona hails from Radbourne village in Derbyshire, England, and is that of a first-born gentleman in service to the Chandos family. In the Spring of 1340, he answered King Edward III's call and left with John Chandos to join His Highness, Edward of Woodstock. Since the battle of Sluys, he has been on campaign with His Highness helping liberate and protect English holdings on the continent from the French usurpers that seek to hold dominion over them. The building of this persona has necessitated learning the skills of sewing, embroidery, and the use of a lucet in order to more accurately complete his soft kit.
