1. The ornament of gold or silver worn by a prince or princess, duke or duchess, count or countess, viscount or viscountess, baron or baroness. See sumptuary law

 a.  Crown Prince/Princess coronets are silver and ornamented as they see fit
 b.  Territorial Prince/Princess coronets are (different somehow?)
 c.  Ducal coronets are gold and ornamented with strawberry leaves
 d.  Couny coronets are gold and ornamented with embattlements
 e.  Viscounty coronets are silver and ornamented with embattlements
 f.  Baronial coronets for landed/territorial Barons/Baronesses are gold and ornamented with six pearls.
 g.  Baronial coronets for court Barons/Baronesses are silver and ornamented with six pearls.

2. The authority and power of the princ(ess) of a principality or the baron(ess) of a barony.


3. The person who has the right to wear such an ornament of rank.
