On Friday, September 12 I did a full backup of the wikidb database, created a tarball of the /usr/local/apache/mediawiki-1.9.2 directory, and then downloaded mediawiki-1.13.1 . I then extracted that file into the existing wiki directory and ran the update script. Finally I tested some of the Templates I've been working on and was very pleased with the results. The long and short is that we are now running the most recent stable version of MediaWiki.

Hello,

Thank you for this great resource. I do have one request. Can we add some "table of contents" type of navigation to the main page? Currently one must search for everything, which leaves a bit to be desired for the casual browser. I would have started on this, but the main page seems to be unavailable for editing (and I am registered).  :)

Tables of Contents on the main page aren't really how Wikis work but I agree that some kind of navigation aid would be useful. Perhaps an initial navigation or 'launch' page linked in the navigation panel.

"How Do I Get Started?"

Feedback seemed good on the How Do I Get Started? page - can this be added to the main page in a prominent location?
