Saltatoris Dance Guild

The Saltatoris Dance Guild, is located in the Canton of Ealdnordwuda, in the Barony of Northwoods. The purpose of our guild is to learn and teach Renaissance dances, to serve our fellow members of the SCA as leaders of the dance, and - most of all - to have fun!

In the entire SCA, we study much of the renaissance time period(300AD-1600AD). In this particular group, our concentration is mainly on dance and dance etiquette mostly from sources dated back in the renaissance era. We only have dance sources that date back to 1450AD or later. Those dances are generally taught at our weekly meetings as well as some dances that were created by members in the style of the renaissance.
