French Country Dance

French Country Dances popular in the Middle Kingdom are most commonly of a type known as Bransles. The term, Bransle (pronounced "Brawl") refers to a step to the side and Bransles are usually danced in a line or a circle of dancers. Bransles may require partners, but frequently require just as many dancers as wish to dance.
