Cynnabar Ruby Jubilee

On September 1, 2018, the Barony of Cynnabar celebrated its 40th anniversary as a group, and 20th anniversary as a Barony with a Ruby Jubilee event. This event was held at the Michigan United Conservation Club's Waterloo Recreation Area.
The event was a camping event, one of the few Cynnabar has held over the years. It featured armored and rapier fighting, and Arts and Sciences area with several classes, and a feast for everyone that attended. In total, 166 people attended including 24 children.
A Baronial history display was available during the entirety of the event in the main lodge.
While the number of attendees was reasonable, numbers were lower than hoped due to a competing Kingdom event and the Labor Day weekend.
Baronial Court
The Baronial court had a special format for the event. It was opened by the then current Baron and Baroness, Ermenerich and Kasha. They then turned over the court to each of the prior Barons and Baronesses in turn in their order of ascension. Each Baron and Baroness presented awards from those they had originated during their reign.
