Charge (tactic)

A maneuver a unit might do in a melee or individual combat, a charge occurs when one unit or combatant advances, often at a run, towards a target combatant or unit in order to engage them in combat.

The target combatant or unit may likewise charge, and this charge is referred to as a counter-charge.
