Authorization Card

Once authorization has been completed, the Clerk of the Roster, a deputy of the Earl Marshal issues a combatant a card so confirming, and listing the weapon authorizations the combatant possesses. When more weapon authorizations are obtained, the authorizing marshal initials the card in the appropriate place.

Traditionally, a form of ID card carried by fighters, showing which Society weapon forms the fighter has received Authorization in. Currently, the Middle Kingdom maintains an authorization database that is the canonical location of a fighter's authorizations. This database is maintained by the Clerk of the Roster.

Despite the database being online, fighters are expected to show some sort of proof of their presence in the database while signing into the list during an event. This proof may be a printout from the database or a screen capture of their entry on their phone. This is because Internet connectivity at event sites may be erratic.
