A&S display
From MiddleWiki
There are many different types of A&S Displays and there is no one right way to run one. Most often an A&S Display is a static display of artwork or craft by SCA artisans on tables for the event populace to view and be inspired by. This may be with or without documentation, and the artisan is usually not required to stay with the work.
These may have a required/requested theme to coordinate with an event theme, and may or may not be voted on in some way by designated judges, the event staff or populace to decide a winner. Usually, if voted on, a prize is offered.
This is unlike the more formal Craftmans Faire or a Laurel Prize Tourney where the artist or craftmans will sit with their work and answer any questions for the hours it is operating.
